The hideousness and tackiness of most hotel/motel décor is hard to understand. Particularly the bedspreads! I usually fold them up and hide them under the bed to try to improve the atmosphere a bit.

While there may be new hotels and resorts going up around these established honeymoon spots, we know it will take the new ones years to get the service down that we experienced at Sans Souci. Not much, but enough to recall the atmosphere of those years. After a loo-break and having a heavy breakfast comprising of puri-sabji we started out with our eyes set on the ocean.

You don’t like polyester (I don’t either), but you would be surprised at the number of travelers who do! People so allergic and germ phobic these days.
